KARAKTERISTIK PROFESIONALISME GURU BERSERTIFIKASI PENDIDIK DALAM MENGAJAR

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini membahas tentang profesionalisme guru dalam mengajar yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri Karangpucung, Khususnya Guru yang sudah bersertifikasi pendidik. Selama ini kompetensi guru di SMK Negeri Karangpucung banyak yang tidak sesuai dengan latar belakang pendidikan tetapi setelah ada program sertifikasi guru, guru tersebut menjadi guru profesional yang memiliki sertifikat pendidik. Untuk mengetahui sejauhmana  profesionalisme guru SMK yang telah bersertifikasi pendidik dalam mengajar. Profesionalisme guru mengacu sikap dan komitmen anggota profesi untuk bekerja berdasarkan standar yang tinggi dan kode etik profesinya.

Dimensi profesionalisme diintegrasikan dengan kompetensi guru. Kriteria kompetensi profesionalisme guru diukur berdasrkan kompetensi Pedagogik , kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial  dan kompetensi profesional.

Dari penelitian tersebut untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, harus ada program pengembangan guru.

ABSTRACT

This reseach discusses about the professionalism of teachers in teaching conducted at the Vocational School of Karangpucung, especially teachers who are certified educators. So far, the competence of teachers in SMK Karangpucung are not many in accordance by the educational background but after a teacher certification program, the teacher is a teacher who has a professional educator certificate. To find out the extent of professionalism that has been certified vocational teacher educators in teaching. Professionalism of  teacher refers to the attitude of teachers and members of the profession's commitment to work based on high standards and code of ethics of his profession.

Dimensions of professionalism are integrated by teacher competence. Professionalism of teachers' competence criteria measured based on Pedagogic competence, personal competence, social competence and professional competence.

From these reseach to improve the professionalism of teachers, there should be a teacher development program.
